Improving Hands-On Education Programs with Farming

Recorded: October 6th, 2020 at 12 pm EST

Join Jack Levine in a livestream event from his own farm! He will share his experience working as the student Freight Farmer at Clark University, and how this experience led to him launching his own farming business, Town to Table, shortly after graduating. Now, Town to Table helps other schools integrate engaging farm-to-school programs directly onto their campuses and into their curriculums.

Freight Farms 101: How Controlled Environment Agriculture Can Grow Premium Crops

Recorded: October 27th, 2020 at 3 pm EST

With many disruptions as you start the 2020-2021 school year, having options for remote learning is critical. We’re bringing you a class-like event led by our Farm Manager, Lexy Basquette. Lexy will teach you about how you can grow the very best crops with a controlled environment, in a class-like setting, showing you how you can bring this to your own (remote) classroom.

Think inside the box!

Shout out to all the creators that are finding innovative uses for freight containers! The question is, what will you create?
