Our top priority at Freight Farms is the success of our farmers. And we’re here to ensure every new farmer has all the tools and training needed to run a successful and smooth operation.
We invite you to a two-day intensive training at our headquarters in Boston, MA where we combine in-farm sessions and classroom lessons. Additionally, you can learn remotely with a step-by-step online training course. We cover everything farmers need to know: how to seed, transplant and harvest crops, how the software and operating system works, how to meet food safety standards, and how to market to potential customers.
Farm Camp at Freight Farms Headquarters provides future farmers hands on experience inside the LGM™ and an opportunity to meet other freight farmers on the same journey.
Web Farm Camp takes farmers step-by-step through the entire training process using a combination of articles and videos. Check-points and quizzes ensure a smooth learning process.
Freight Farms’ online Knowledge Base has hundreds of articles on best practices around freight farming, food safety, operations, business development, and more. It’s updated weekly, and is available 24/7 on our web and mobile platforms.
