Business Development Representative

Freight Farms is looking for a motivated individual to help us grow our customer base across strategic channels and continue our rapid growth.

In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with the sales team to identify and prospect into target accounts to uncover new business opportunities

  • Conduct high volume prospecting (60+ activities per day) to connect with and qualify potential leads through outbound calls and emails

  • Determine prospects' current business goals and effectively articulate the value of Freight Farms

  • Connect qualified prospects to the Sales team for initial meetings

  • Conduct yourself professionally and cast Freight Farms in a positive light

  • Consistently achieve (and exceed!) monthly quotas and goals

Office Manager

We are looking for an Office Manager to organize and coordinate administration duties and office procedures. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety.

Office manager responsibilities include scheduling meetings and appointments, making office supplies arrangements, greeting visitors and providing general administrative support to our employees. Previous front facing experience would be an advantage. A successful Office manager should also have experience with a variety of office software (email tools, spreadsheets and databases) and be able to accurately handle administrative duties.

Ultimately, the Office Manager should be able to ensure the smooth running of the office and help to improve company procedures and day-to-day operation.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule meetings and appointments

  • Organize the office layout and order stationery and equipment

  • Maintain the office condition and arrange necessary repairs

  • Update and maintain office policies as necessary

  • Organize office operations and procedures

  • Ensure that all items are invoiced and paid on time

  • Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers and office lease

  • Manage office G&A budget, ensure accurate and timely reporting

  • Provide general support to visitors

  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires

  • Address employees queries regarding office management issues (e.g. stationery, Hardware and travel arrangements)

  • Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering and security services

  • Plan in-house or off-site activities, like parties, celebrations and conferences

Requirements

  • Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures

  • Proficiency in MS Office, G-Suite, Keynote

  • Hands on experience with office systems (e.g. fax machines and printers)

  • Familiarity with communication and scheduling tools

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment

  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements

Product Marketing Specialist

The Product Marketing Specialist sits at the intersection of Marketing, Sales and Product. As a Product Marketing Specialist you’ll own the technical voice of the product, driving product communication and awareness with both internal and external stakeholders.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading internal product launch process, acting as key point of contact across the Product, Sales and Marketing organizations

  • Ownership of product launch goals and timelines; achieve goals by building internal alignment and coordinating across teams to hit launch deadlines and KPIs

  • Product evangelist; driving product adoption with customers and building awareness with internal and external stakeholders through internal presentations, training documentation, customer communications and more

  • Contribute to content strategy and develop customer promotions in order to successfully drive product demand

  • Refine product positioning for SMB market, enabling Sales and Marketing teams with framework for how to differentiate product in the marketplace

  • Develop product content; creating customer facing content to be used on website and in sales collateral

  • Work with sales, R&D and manufacturing to develop timelines for NPI.

  • Develop comprehensive product marketing plans for assigned portfolio of products - including positioning, pricing, profitability improvement, lifecycle management planning.

  • Define value propositions and, working in conjunction with marketing communications specialists, develop appropriate marketing support material (sales literature, advertisement, web content, presentation material) to support sales of assigned portfolio of products to targeted market segments.

  • Develop hands on, in-depth knowledge of competitive products, market/industry trends, and consumer needs through ongoing research.
